Project Description
This project represented one of my greatest challenges: how to tell the story of veteran suicide to an audience that would be made up of men, women, and children, many of whom would probably not know any veterans. I also needed to make this simple to view and simple to read. As a result, I needed to create a presentation that had a tight integration between its text and its visuals. For simplicity, I used line graphs and bar graphs to display numbers; I also used a simple map graphic of the United States to show the number of suicides by region.

This project also revealed the difficulty in creating something short, informative, and memorable. Because I had a limited amount of space, I needed to determine how to integrate text and graphics that would tell my story but still be easy to view and easy to read.
