Project Description

This project was a report where we used information from assigned reading to analyze our choice of websites, discussing the principles that made those particular websites effective. Although this project is only tangentially related to my threshold concept, it emphasizes tha technical information can be, and is, relayed through mediums other than print. Applying design principles in analyzing these websites served as a good reminder that audience is still a necessary consideration when designing a website. Although a purely commercial site may not need to consider cultural norms and cultural differences, technical communicators must still maintain awareness of their audiences when determining how to present their information.
